Murder of elderly woman in Paris probed as anti-Semitic
POSTED: MAR 26 2018
FOX5NY - French authorities say the killing of an elderly Jewish woman in Paris is being investigated as an anti-Semitic murder. The woman...
Millions of fire extinguishers have been recalled. I believe they were also sold under other brand names so it doesn't necessarily mean if you don't have a Kidde it's not on the recall list and you can't get a new one.
They'll send out a new version for free for every recalled unit you have...

The Galaxy Note 7 was indisputably one of the best Android phones of 2016, before the battery issues and the subsequent consecutive recalls killed the device in its tracks. It’s rumored that Samsung rushed into the design of the Galaxy Note 7 in an attempt to beat...
I've made the choice to stop drinking again and so it's back to the bonfires since that really seemed to be therapeutic on my last 3.5 month break from alcohol.
It's a good temperature for an outdoor fire (46º) and the light rain that's suppose to continue off and on all night might not be too...
Even at night it only drops into the mid to upper 70's. I had a good one going the other night though:
I might try for a little while tonight even though at 11pm it'll only have cooled down to 79º according to the forecast. :wtc:
It doesn't look like much but I think that will burn for a good 4 or 5 hours. Fire pit is 36" inside diameter so that big log is huge. I hope the 3 stacks below it are enough to get it burning good.
No fire last night because I spent the last 1.75 days sleeping on and off.
But I finally dragged myself out at 3am today and got one going. Sweet relief. Not a ton of logs in it but it's a little breezy and that's adding a good effect I don't always get.
So no fire last night but I'm not going to be able to go 2 nights in a row without. I got my hands on some really good scraps of hardwood (Almond and Walnut) a couple days ago and I've been itching to burn it.
It's already past midnight and I'll have to take a floodlight out if I want to build...
All the wood I have left are rather large logs. No smaller ones to get it nice and hot so the big one will burns and I figure 2am isn't an appropriate hour to make a ton of noise by splitting some logs.
I'll see how it goes.
I've largely replaced the relief from boredom and life in general I got from liquor with sitting in front of a large fire for hours at a time sipping on caffeinated soda.
I've usually got free wood from scraps a friend throws out at his woodworking business and scrap wood from my brothers...
I tried getting some good hardwood scraps from my friends woodworking business but all he had today was a small amount of shitty pine.
My dad let me have a few logs from a willow tree he cut down a few years back but it's burning fast. :wtc:
