that thing doesn't sound anywhere remotely close to stock though are there any oem parts left on that engine/drivetrain?
No idea. But did anybody else notice the cam lope? I didn't think you could even get different cams for the mod motors. Or at least nothing that is widely available.
Local guy went 6.90's in the 1/8 with just full exhaust, tune, pulley, cold air, upgraded halfshafts and diff...500 to rear wheels...
I don't see why you couldn't
you can go anywhere and get a custom grind done nowadays
looks like a 1.22 60'
that cam has to have a huge lift by the sound of the idle. it hooked up damn well too
living under a rock? I know two guys with SOHC cars that not only have cams, but solid lifter conversions as well...
Probably no way in hell he'd tell you what he has anyway.
I guess so. I'm not a blue oval person.
he has a KB on the way too...
I'd still rather have this...
Short block is STOCK. (crank, rods, pistons, block).
Heads are stock, but they've probably been worked over a bit
Cams are aftermarket
Supercharger has been upgraded to a Kenne Bell.
IT's got Nitrous on top of that.
The T56 was removed in favor of a C4 Automatic
The IRS was dropped in favor of a Ford 9"
It's one of the stoutest stock motors EVER. Right up there with the 2JZ GTE
Thanks for the info.
probably quite a few, the heads flow like a mother - Tim Palmer went 8's on stock heads...
Most likely has solid rear, tubular k and a-arms, exhaust, KB, small shot, cams, valve spring, and supporting electrical, fuel delivery, and tuning...
According to txgti thats exactly what he has. Good call.
no 1/4 no care.
1/4 wasn't available at the time, hang on....for 1/4 times...
10.77 with 6.85 1/8 - not sure on the mph or the rest of the details, still trying to call somone who knows them...
The lumpy cam sound is coming from the white Nova in the other lane.
no 8's, no care.
