Intro: Tried to find as many pics as I could. I'm 5'10"ish, a junior in college right now, will turn 20 at the end of the month. Senior year of high school I played sports and stuff, didn't really go to the gym. Freshman year I went and did curls and chest 4 days a week and didn't eat right or anything. End of freshman year I found OT and F&N, which was about 15 months ago. Slacked on and off during those 15 (pics show that), finally got serious around the middle of this summer again. Goals: I'm training right now to compete in the APF Southern States powerlifting meet the weekend of Dec. 2nd, which will be my first meet. I am not trying for a weight class, I'm just gonna weigh whatever I do the day of the meet. I'm trying to slowly gain weight I guess. My current routine is a 9 week full cycle of Dave Tate's Beginner PL Program in prep for the meet. I've done 5x5, Pur's and maybe one other during the 15 months. I want to not bomb out, set PRs, and have fun -that's it for goals. Numbers: When I started back at the end of Freshman Year I got 185 on the dead, 115 on the bench and i think 155 on the squat. At the beginning of this year I failed incline bench on 115x8. I haven't maxed in a while but recent PR lifts have been: 435x5 dead, 265 decline, 315 GM, am currently box squatting on DE day and GMing on ME day so no recent squat PRs, but had a 405x5 a few months ago on a box an inch or two above parallel, not that that really says anything, there's 3 weeks of free squatting starting next week so i'll have somethin then Supps: I take whey post workout and fish oil in the morning. I've tried creatine mono/CEE, celltech (yikes), lots of pre-WO stims, and even Jungle Warfare once for a month, and concluded that, after the giddy placebo part wore off, that I didn't really see much from them and I was wasting my money (that's just me, others might have different experiences). So for a while now it's just been whey and fish oil and i'm gonna keep it that way. A Touching Closing Thought: I don't really care about how I look, my only stipulation being 'not looking fat' - which means I don't diet very carefully (it's obvious). Anyway, here's how it's turned out so far, got a long way to go. I am cooking for myself this semester though and eating a bit cleaner, so hopefully that'll pay off. Notice that less Lancerlusion™, angles, and lighting tricks are used as time goes forward - which means I'm doing something right I guess. I'm still very much a beginner but I love training more and more every day and can't wait to be a broly dad or something. Beginning of Freshman Year - 137-140lbs End of Freshman Year - 149-150lbs Beginning of fall, Sophomore Year - 170-174lbs *i really wish i had the rest of the pics from that day - i actually look fat and not that great, but the angle on the front one does a helluva job End of fall, Sophomore Year - 170lbs, hello backwards progress, not even lighting can save me Spring, Sophomore Year - 174-176lbs, excellent usage of lighting Fall, Junior Year (today) - 186.5lbs just for fun, 'pics focusing on vascularity' for the yoke and finally the same NWA shirt from one of the earlier pics, in a positive pose That's all. Fuck i hope tinypic.com works.
