Oh, and keep in mind it's two people working out.
I guess it all depends on how much time both of you take to workout, volume, exercises, and how long you guys talking shit for.
1.5 with 2 people? not really
still too much, the longest i ever go, even with like 5 is 1.5 hours, and that is rare..
two people should make the process pretty quick if there is not much bull shitting
2.5 is rare, usually 1.5...we got 2.5 today b/c we started talking with some peeps we know.
stop chatting so much...you should still be able to get done in under an hour
About 8-12 exercises, wx12x3 or varied weights x5 in terms of sets and reps.
I think i've read before that wating too long in between sets is counterproductive. So if your talking too much, and waiting like 5 min between sets, that might no be good.
Does this involve cardio?
Yea, 10 minute warm-up.
Oh, one other thing that is kinda time consuming is that he does a lot more weight than I do, so we change plates a lot.
Let's say an average of 2 hour work out. This includes 10 minute cardio warm-up, plate changing, and periodic extended break (Two 5 minute breaks, tops).
Considering those factors...too much?
just came back from my usual 45-60min. nobody is there dicking around so it's quick and heavy with plenty of stretching time thrown in.
i go for 1.5-2 hours depending on how busy it is in there. seeing much better gains than when I used to go for 45-60 min
When working out w/my friend, we usually get done in 1.5 to 2 hours.
i worked 10 hrs today, but i took a 2 hr lunch, and 3 1 hr breaks, and talked to some friends for another few hrs.. but, i worked for 10 hrs.
i split my workouts up one in morning and one at night and its been amazing
How do you guys take in between sets?
45 minutes is where its at
no warmup (maybe an easy set or some plyo )
