I had no idea those fucking things can go that fast.
I still dont care
B18 no shit!
Yooly's car is in the photo gallery!
Anything can go that fast with enough $$$$$..
jeebus what a waste of money
no seriously you could make a faster car for less
but it is his money so, not my place to complain
if it's a pure track car it should at least be in the 9's.
The whole "sport" or hobby is a waste of money.
"motorsports" doesnt seem like too much of a sport to me
any "sport" that relies on technical modifications to a car and really has nothing to do with driving skill in the end seems pointless
and i know some people will argue its all about the speed at which you shift and your reaction time, but whatever if you spent enough you could beat someone whose reaction time was less than 3/100 of a second...
Have you ever built a 9 second car??
I think not fag because it takes a shitload of skill......granted for some just the cash to pay the people with the skills.
there's this thing called tuning.
i was talking about the latter
with enough money you can buy anything
anyone can slap on a bunch of bolt-ons, but it won't get you anywhere if you don't know what you're doing. And you won't have good ETs if you don't know how to drive right.
ghey and its still fwd
more than half the people you see at the track wasted money by not installing parts themselves
more than half cant drive worth a damn
only a few actually have decent ETs... and the sad part is, if they have a decent ET and are pitted against with a punk kid who thinks he or she is hot shit who just spent a ton of money to get their parts installed professionally and have a shitty ET usually win... that just makes the "sport" less credible
about what tracks you go to but the one's i go to and the guys i talk to are all really cool and do the work themself.
I take it you're referring to Cali motor speedway or whatever track I always see SCC using?
meh, I'd understand where you're coming from, but most track events I've been to haven't seen anyone like you're referring
Carlsbad and Qualcomm are the ones i usually go to
there are cars running faster for less $, yet still keeping their street legalness (is that a new word?).
that's why i said track cars should be in the 9's at least. but i can understand if they are still in the tuning faze and possibly have some tweaks to do with some parts.
also my next car i plan to get in the 9's and keep street legal if i'll have the funds to do so though.
