How long does this update take?
I received my Macbook in the mail today and I started the update around midnight... and it's still doing it. It had me restart and it shows the background with the hourglass type thing [the circle that revolves as if something is loading]... how much longer?
I am going to leave it until morning, but ... anyway, how long did it take for you guys to do this update?
about 20 minutes for me including download time...
dude, something's wrong. hold the power button down for 5 seconds to shut it off and boot it back up and try the update again
I did that this morning when i woke up and it was doing the same thing it was when I went to bed. I got back on and searched for updates and they must have all downloaded because only one showed up for Keynote. I think it just got stuck on the reboot.
Updated the hackintosh last night.
friend installed it, broke his mini, wont boot
installed it on my work/home mac, perfect
My boss is having video issues since the update. iChat is crashing too. I may wait a bit on my production machine. Already upgraded my testing machine and it seems fine but I haven't used it much at all since the update.
One bug or issue I noticed after the update is that Firefox with the new update doesn't remember its exact position when it was closed. I normally use extended desktop with an external connected to the MBP using the external as main. Firefox is normally in the main but recently seems to start up in the smaller monitor.
