good for him.
The kid went for the headshot!
no surprise from that news outlet, the same one that called the increase in state CHP applications "alarming."
I do agree with this part
I was left home alone from the time I was 8-9 on. Of course we lived in the country so there wasn't much risk of bad guys breaking the door down.
I guess it depends on the responsibility level of the kids.
accountable for what? bad parenting?
give the kid a milkshake or something
I'd say the area you live in. Obviously this doesn't sound like an area where kids should be left alone at the age of 10.
we were latchkey kids, from when i was 9... if a kid can not be trusted alone at home by 10, you are doing it wrong... and should not be a parent.
agreed. When I was 7, my mom started going out of the country for non-profit work for weeks at a time, and my dad being a paramedic worked 24 hour shifts. My 11 year old cousin would come over to "watch" me and we'd take care of ourselves fine.
damn well good that lil guy
oh fuck, a god damned century ago 10 year olds were tendering after herds of cattle
I found a junky old bike on the side of a street and refurbished it to working condition when I was 8.
Nowadays, your lucky if a 11 yearold can inflate a bike tire.
The pussification of America and it's future is frightening.
You don't have kids, do you?
10 is a perfectly acceptable age for staying home and babysitting his sister. Let the parent parent the kid, eh?
Nice work. Too bad it sounds like it was a dang CO2 pistol if he went to the hospital after getting shot in the mouth.
He probably got shot in profile.
A 12 ga slug can bounce off the brim of a hat. Nothing would surprise me.
what do you mean wat?
you dont think even a service caliber handgun bullet can bounce off of bone/teeth/jaw if it hits it in the right spot?
Yes. My wat was directed towards a slug bouncing off the brim of a hat.
The trainer who told mehe saw it said they wouldn't have believed it either. He said it happened during a drill and I have no reason to disbelieve him because I've done the drill in two off his classes and the scenario fits.
And him being one of the older and more respected trainers gives it more weight to me.
