what do you guys think about a 1911 style gun in 9mm? I think SA makes one.
If you're going to get a gun as large as a 1911, you might as well get it in .45. Ammo isn't that much more expensive for .45 vs 9mm. If you want a 9mm, why not get a modern gun with a more compact design to facilitate easier carry?
browning hi power is kinda close
what he said
someone asked the same question on 1911forums. here is a link to the thread
seems it's like most things. some folks like em, others don't. if it makes you happy, get one. all i would say is try to shoot one first.
Get a CZ 75 and be happy.
totally agree except when it comes to the .45ACP cartridge. In .45 the 1911 is superior to all others.
And it took them how many years to achieve this?
I would choose the Browning Hi-power too. Extra ammo capacity & easier to take down. The only advantage the 1911 has is the trigger.
Ok well let me rephrase....A 1911 is superior to all others FOR ME and the FBI HRT.
Yeah I don't know why they switched from 10mm.
supposedly "too hard to train with" ie, too much recoil
guys who carry guns, carry glocks, sigs, whatever...
guys who shoot guns shoot 1911's.
I own almost any brand/style out there but 1911's are by far the best shooters. If a double action is what you want Sig is the best. And BTW: the best shooter I have is a custom built 9mm 1911 caspian.
In your opinion....
Oh BTW this is my best shooter...
I'd go with the CZ aswell...
A 9mm I enjoyed shooting was the 5" Springfield XD... although it's not the style you're lookig for and everyone has varied opinions on it
HELL NO that is just disrespecting the gun and its haussness
