for Corvettes period.
83 was worse... they scrapped the fucker
i love my 82!!
Flat Rear Window Stingray > Bubble Window Stingray
They didn't scrap it...The C4's just came out later than planned, and therefore no '83...
they all suck equally
the 80s was a bad decade for cars in general
I already ignored him from another thread...
You're insane.....those were the best looking Corvettes ever!
C3's are definitely my least favorite.
thats like saying that Mclaren had a new racecar this year
they HAD one... it just had too many bugs to actually USE.... and htey didnt really scrap it... but they did have to go back to the drawing board, and just write off the 83 model year as a bust.
My Father's Corvette:
1976, 1596 Miles...
My brother has an 81 and I agree. It's been a pain in the ass since he bought it.
We just put a 351 in it and a new interior. The electric windows are fuxored. He is dealing with replacing that shit right now. And, the carburator is starting to act up.
The fucker is a mess because of little shit here and there
A thing of beauty...
You put a ford engine in a vette?
I know...It sits in our garage, day after day...My dad drove it off the dealer lot in 1976 and put it away...It still has that "New Car" leather smell to the interior...He even has the original tires that were recalled by Firestone..He bought the correct replacements instead of trading in his recalled tires so that he could have both...
I'm sorry, it was a 350
I was thinking of my buddy's Mach1
I was born and raised to love C3's...
I'm pissed at my Dad though, because years ago he was trying to buy a '53 Vette and couldn't find any nice ones...but he did find a ton of '54's... Now he'd like to get atleast a '54 and he's having a hard time finding those now (20 years later)...
The Chevy dealer mechanics all called it "CeaseFire Injection"
