we are talking about high school? I am sure if you work hard in the offseason, school usually have some program to follow, you could make the team.

    follow that routine

1 year is plenty of time to get ready for ball. I played with kids in high school that put on 20lbs over summer just from lifting and eating. they got sick of being on JV and spent their summers in the gym

make sure you are doing lots of conditioning (sprints, change of direction shit, box jumps, etc...) too. you can be the strongest guy on the field, but if you cant move you cant play

didnt see that. how good is the CC's football program? I know a few kids that are D1A and AA prospects but are doing time at CC's to get their grades up. if its a good program, you can still try out but having no background in football is gonna kill you. College programs arent there to teach you the basics.
