Nissan's initial quality (by nameplate) is BELOW CHEVY, FORD, and DODGE!!! Way to go NISSAN!
Couldn't find anyone to post an anti-Nissan thread for you today?
Apparently, you did.
quality > initial quality
nissan = suck!
infiniti = nissan but it was #3 on the list in the 2nd pic
:master of the obvious:
The S2000 is a premium sports car?
Cost near the same as the base model SLK and Z3/Z4.
Dude, you have fucking issues, seriously. I'd rather listen to HisXLNC talk about cars than you, he at least doesn't hide his hate for certain cars like you do. Instead of saying that everyone within 10 points of the industrial average were virtually identical, you use a 3 point spread to say one car company is better worse than another? We're talking an average of .02 more or less problems per car.
Get over your bias dude, or at least admit to it.
I see two nameplates worth noting there, Lexus and Hummer, nothing else.
Whats corporate IQS and nameplate IQS?
Initial quality is a mostly useless measurement anyway. It relies on the owners of the cars to determine problems with the cars. Nissan owners tend to be very picky, and will tend to find more faults or problems with the cars than many other owner types. They'll also be more likely to fill out the car-related survey in the first place instead of tossing it in the trash. People accustom to poor build quality will not make a note of problems as they feel they are expected or the norm for instance.
Additionally, the classifications of problems make it confusing as well. Car starts on fire = 1 problem. Missing a screw in the trunk trim = 1 problem. Front suspension collapses = 1 problem. Illumination of the power window switches not functioning = 1 problem.
I admit, I have one. But I don't 'hate' all Nissan. Certian one's I do not like as much as some people think they're a godsend or something. Like the Altima, 04 Maxima, G35 sedan, and M45. On the other hand, I've showned my liking towards the G35 coupe, 03 Maxima, FX35/45, and recently I'm liking the Murano after seeing a few zoomed crossing my path. The only Nissan I really 'hate' is the Xterra.
Hell, all this 'bias' shit you throw on me can be applied to you against another certian automake. So don't make it out like you're unbias at all. Now that I admited my stance on Nissan, I just do these threads for my entertainment to watch and read you Nissan nazi's taking my bait.
BTW, this is a bit of a disappointment on the reputation of Japanese 'quality' with Nissan below some of the domestic brands averages.
All the baby companies inside of the 'big company'
GM=Pontiac, Buick, Olds, Cadillac, Saab, Saturn, Hummer, Chevy, GMC
Ford=Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Jaguar
DaimlerChrysler=MBenz, Chrysler, Dodge
Toyota=Toyota, Lexus, Scion
1.)I hate no car company.
2.)Again, ignore the fact that you are talking about a 1 percent difference between numbers and keep saying that one is 'better' than another because of it. Hell, Jaguar and Mercury are in front of Honda, does that make Honda shittier than them?
I didn't say you hate. I said you got bias too. Don't preach me being 'unbias' when you yourself are bias towards another make and against another.
Different brand class and different sales volume.
Uh, no. I am far from biased. I have ragged on Nissan , just like I rag on every other car company that fucks up. Secondly, that makes no difference and no sense. If Honda is king, why are they not on top?
And you STILL haven't explained to me how a 1 percent difference is statistically relevant.
No bias? Anyone who says they have no bias is either ignorant on automobiles or is lying.
And who said anything Honda and why bring Honda up.
