i love my 2006. I would think the price would be like 20k on an 05 with around 30k miles
likes, dislikes, auto or manual
this one is newer, less miles, and 1k more expensive but auto
price could be beat.
i have a 6 speed...i don't like autos. I like everything about it basically...only things i don't like are nitpicky shit like no light around the ignition key slot and things like that. I get like 22mpg average and i drive pretty aggressively. Put it this way...I bought it last january, so it's a year later and it still puts a smile on my face everytime i fire it up.
I missed that
oh, and the insurance is cheaper by $300 a year over my old fucking scion tc
any mods to it?
i haven't done anything just because i know once i buy a muffler all hell will break loose and i'll soend another $5000 on shit. The car is plenty fast for me as it is anyway
I love my '05. great car, tons of power. fuck manuals, honestly. unless you want to control the car even more, there is honestly no reason to get a manual for the Goat, although I do find myself wanting to move the shifter in my auto . the autos are .1 faster in 0-60 and 1/4 mile. beautiful interiors and all around great cars, go for it! you won't regret it.
so stick / auto just comes down to preference?
used...yes. When they were new the 6 speed cost $600 but the auto was hit with a $1000 gas guzzler tax
do you do any sort of racing with the GTO or just a DD ?
mine's a DD. but there are a lot of Goat owners that do racing and have no problems with it besides the horrible wheelhop.
paging TriShield, he is the GTO guy for all your GTO questions.
i go to work at 5am every day with no one else on the road. i usually drive the 15 miles in 20 minutes (75% highway)
No official racing though. check www.ls2gto.com forums for a ton of info
yeah I would be racing mine so I was just wondering how it did as a DD as opposed to dumping more power into it and making it a track car
I guess I would have to drive both an auto / manual to see which I liked better
although the auto one in the area is newer, less miles, and only 1k more than the manual
No light around the ignition key slot? I'm 99% sure they have a green light around the ignition.
I like that first one.
maybe mine is blown out. I never think to look until it's 5am and i can't find the ignition
is there a reason to get a pontiac other than having a really fast-traveling pile of garbage?
I would buy that first one as well.
i paid 27k for mine new and i love it. The interior is nice, the handling is nice. I don't need an M5
it's actually "talk to me goose"
