Florida loses DC Collins to temple. Not big loss. Bad recruiter on top of the fact Floridas d usually got run out of the building in top 25 games

Can make the easy assumption Mac wont make a splashy hire.

Just looking at some overall numbers, MSUs d ranked 86th overall in 2014 under Collins. Nuss O ranked 115th at Michigan.

Somehow Mac saw these two guys production at those schools and thought to himself "NEED TO HIRE THESE GUYS ASAP"

Mac is such a shit head

has anyone ever made a splashy DC replacement hire? it's usually someone they've worked with previously who was a db coach or something and they get promoted. soo randy shannon

Two out of the box guys I was looking at out of boredom.

Phil Snow from Temple. Took over a D ranking in the 100s then finished 24, 20, 3 next 3 years. That's impressive, quality of conference and schedule be damned.

Another one is Nate Woody from App St.

I expect it to be Shannon but out of boredom I decided to look at other guys.

When I called him out on this and then I listed like 10 other coaches outside of Meyer and Saban I would take over mac he started to backtrack and claim Mac was just in tier 2 and that I couldn't read.

I would be fine with Randy being promoted. His d at Miami finished in the top 10, 5 of 6 years.

Virginia Tech said Thursday it was one of the teams that received game-plan information from Wake Forest’s former radio analyst.

The information was shared before the Hokies’ 6-3 double-overtime win in 2014. Yes, that’s the game that finished regulation 0-0 and gave us this iconic photograph of former Virginia Tech head coach Frank Beamer.

also, florida fans better hope kirby smart actually cant coach. Dude is killing it in recruiting. mac is getting out classed badly against a team who hasnt won the division in years and looked miserable all year

If kirby can actually coach, its going to be a very unfun next 10 years living in the state of georgia. mac will never pull a higher recruiting class than georgia. ever.
