If anyone is near ft meyers, this might be a hell of a deal:dunno:

I spend so much fucking money on useless goodwill stuff to hack it to pieces and salvage random useful stuff lol

If I had a way to get this picked up and shipped, I'd try and get it, but that's not possible so I figured I'd share in case someone else might want it

I'm not totally sure why Bambu slicer keeps giving me brims. I have them turned off but it still throws them on there. Haven't worried about it yet, but definitely need to figure out what I'm doing wrong in the slicer.

Have to set them to manual. I also don’t get it, always seems to be on big parts too, not the tiny ones it can barely get to stick

Well...The place I ordered from sent me confirmation of shipping the new one, but I am yet to receive a return label for the janky one and it says I should receive it by 3/2...I might end up with 2 cr-10's lol

If that happens and I can figure out octaprint....NICE.

Just picked up this guy for my Bambu to live on. Hopefully it has some weight to help reduce my whole house shaking.

They’re not that heavy. But I put like 30lbs of filament on the bottom and that helped a good bit :mamoru:

Ummmmm...so I'm not sure what happened, but I think my nozzle is blocked. I noticed it was just moving in the air with no filament coming out. Now I'm trying to get the filament out and even preheated it wont budge. in or out. Any tips on how to do this?

Step 1: isolate the problem. Is the extruder slipping on the filament, is the nozzle clogged, etc

if it's the nozzle though do a cold pull, or if you're a lazy sack of shit like me just replace it

Figured it out, My bowden was super clogged. I snipped off about 2 inches for now and ordered a replacement. It 'll still have enough range to move enough for the size I usually print.

Appreciate the help

Shit, I take that back being the issue. There is either a bunch of junk inside the nozzle which is why the bowden was clogged on the end, or I'm not doing something right. Cold pull time. Hopefully that fixes it. I definitely don't know how to change nozzles, but it cant be THAT hard.

you use a wrench or pliers to grip the heater block and then depending on the nozzle you use a smaller wrench or 7mm socket to lefty loosey that shit

That's unfortunate that it makes such a racket. My 3d printer is 10 feet across from where I work and don't even notice when I'm printing something. Being quiet is pretty important for me when it comes to a printer.

I don't mind it mainly because it's much quieter than my ender was on "silent" mode. I only have it going batshit fast when we won't be bothered by the noise.

Often heating to a much higher temperature then the filament you are using would be printed and pushing a cleaning tool up will free it out too. IE if printing PLA heat it up to 260-275 instead

sitting 10ft away from my fake mk3s and trying to focus is kinda the same as my x1c :dunno:, been thinking about swapping the control board for one w/ some quieter steppers
