And this shit is why I like open source hardware.
My BTT skr boards straight up didn't have enough pwm/switched fans to do something like that, I think the new octopus/octopus pro boards finally do.
Question for you guys with the x1c. Does the rear control board fan stay on all the time, even when nothing is printing?

I was exploring ways to get a fan on my p1p and I just learned that it has the plug but Bambu are a buncha dicks and disabled the pwm via a firmware update. I can apparently get it to work by just plugging a fan into the +/- of the 4 pin but it will run all the time when the printer is on. Wish there was an easy way to trigger it so it only runs during prints.
I believe it does, mine lives in another room next to an air purifier I leave running so it's not as big a deal to me

It's odd to me that they incorporate a PWM 4 prong fan but everything I'm reading indicates that it just runs non-stop.

it's really odd to me because it seems like they stop using hold current on the motors (if you let it sit for an hour or two between prints it has to re-home), but that fan appears to still be on

Made some quick and easy filament holder brackets using 3/4" closet tubing from Lowes.

Ran out of the light colored wood filament and only had dark left hence the one different color bracket. Seems to be holding well.

I bet it had open pins available tho. I have an SKR Mini that doesn't have a second switched fan header but was able to add one no problem.

Like my printer has:
2x part fan (I just run both off 1 header)
1x hot end fan
2x electronics bay fan (1 header)
2x bed fans (1 header)
2x charcoal filter fans (1 header)
I still want:
Chamber heater fan

wtf, my octoprint is saying it's reporting undervoltage. I unplugged the camera just to see if that might affect it. nope. I double checked the voltage on the block I used when it was working fine and even though it was sufficient, I changed to another one. Still undervolt. I am confuse
