I'm not sure what the correct speed settings should be:o Is that something I can google or is it a personal preference type thing?

I've noticed that my CR-10 prints way slower than my Ender. I have Octoprint running the Cr-10. Are default speed settings on Octoprint slow or something? I don't think I have adjusted them and it seems like it's painfully slow. Is there a way to change that?
I'm not too well versed in enders, but I think the CR10 was an older/slower generation than the ender3 you have

That would make sense. I have no idea what order or year they came out. I can probably find it online or somewhere on the printers but that sounds plausible for sure. I didn't consider that. Thanks

Whatever the fuck shitty 40mm fan I bought from Amazon makes the most god awful noise on startup. It's a bit louder while running but I definitely want a higher quality set. Any recommendations?

Should I get a FLX or PWM? I think the fan is variable speed but I could be thinking of the part cooler or just be wrong entirely :o.

I think this is correct?

Wasn't impressed by the stock Bambu light so I decided to take matters into my own hands. Designed and printed some angle adjustable mounts for cheapo Amazon LED strips. Made a Y connector off the stock light output but ran out of wire nuts so I had to resort to solder, connectors, and heat shrink. Such a hassle.

The second connector off the Y will go to a small relay to trigger a 12v power source for a 4020 noctura MCU fan and my soon to be designed proper filtration system.

I really don't understand why Bambu did a single light on the side. The light on the front facing inwards is so much better. The side light only helps with some shadows.

Used the 5v from the light output to trigger a small 12v relay module using a second power supply. Not the cleanest thing in the world, but it works well.

So far the relay turns on/off the 12v 4020 noctura MCU fan with the light. Later it will also turn on/off the hepa/carbon filtration system.

I may eventually put another small 12v power supply inside the back and have it run off the 120v wires inside to eliminate the need for two plugs.

Do you guys know if it's possible to wire a raspberri pi to the power supply with some adapter or something to power it?

I hate all these cartoons with 3d printers in them ... my kids see it and are like "daddy I want one!" thinking you hit a button and toys pop out :o

I'm somewhere between wanted to just boy the Toybox thing and be done with it, but then I want a Bamboo, but then I see all the problems people constantly have and I don't have 10 hours to fuck around with it

The Bambu p1p prints really well with basically just a push of a button. I had my first benchy after like 30 min post unboxing. It's when you really want to dial in perfect quality and work with more "exotic" plastics that you start having to tinker more.
