Speaking of increasing speed, is there anything else I should adjust other than the mm/s? I still haven't figured out where things are in Prusa since I started on Cura.

I just had a mother fucker of a clog.

Came home from lunch to find the printer running at about an inch above the last layer it laid down and no spaghetti.

Figured it was a nozzle clog. Tried to push filament through with no luck. Easy enough, I have a hardened nozzle I wanted an excuse to install anyhow.

Replace the hot end (much more time consuming on the P1P than most) and go to feed more filament and nothing.

Pull it back apart and find a piece of old filament stuck between the hot end and the extruder. Push it out and put it back together.

Still no luck feeding filament.

Take it all back apart only to find that the short space between where the bowden goes in and the top of the extruder is jammed. Tried to gently push through with a small hex with no luck. Ended up having to slam the hex against the desk to break free whatever filament was in there. Even after that, it's still kind of hard to get the filament down to the extruder.

It was ASA I was printing. Only thing I can think of is the roll had a wide spot and it got jammed up. I don't think the 50C chamber temps could have been enough to cause ASA to melt before it even hit the extruder.

I'm not a big fan of dustables (crap that just sits on a shelf gathering dust) but this is for my beetle buddies shop. Saw it on Printables. https://www.printables.com/model/290555-vw-bus-marker-holder

The CentriBox is nearing its final form. Last big obstacle is going to be designing in cable management.

I'm pretty confident this is already the best filtration box that can be made for the Bambu. It will be capable of either one or two 7530 centrifugal fans, uses negative pressure which is way better in this application imo, uses off the shelf Roomba hepa filters, can hold charcoal pellets or mesh screens, and pulls air from the top and exhausts through the bottom both without robbing hot air from the bed.

Hadn't had time to touch it til this weekend. Got the frame done. Wasn't sure how precise the 130mm between the rails had to be, i got it to 130.20. calipers got a workout.
Gotta flush the rails and lube them up, hopefully this week.
that's probably the least important of the things called out with proper measurements iirc

Yeah I figured. I spent some time retweaking the frame over and over to make sure all my diagonals were the same and that it was sitting flat on my glass desktop, plus getting all the edges lined up. I'd imagine anything out of square at this point just gets magnified down the road

yeah it's worth spending a bunch of time on, a little less sensitive than a trident but important nonetheless
