Well, my new board came yesterday, and it seems to be working okay. It's fast, stable, and cheap.

However, nVidia's drivers are pissing me off to no end.

I cannot play ANY game that needs hardware acceleration for video or audio without GPF's, blue screens, random reboots, and whatnot while the nV chipset drivers are loaded.

I have tried both a Sapphire 9700 Pro and an AOpen TNT2 Pro.

I have also tried a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz, as well as the onboard C-Media audio.

I am freaking out here. I need my system running ASAP. What can I do to fix these problems?

I have tried both the latest drivers, as well as the ones on the CD, by the way.

EDIT: Yeah. ThermalTake CPU coolers suck...My CPU was overheating. It's all good.

I just tried loading on 98 Lite, and the drivers don't work in that, either.

What the fuck is nVidia smoking?!
