what would it take to make it fit?
Just drive the ranger, until you can buy something else,

i wouldnt put the 4.6L in i go for a 302 or a 351, i think the 302 crate engine would be the cheapest and probably the easiest.
The 4.6 is too wide. I've trolled the Ranger boards for along time and no one's done it but the 5.0 is a common swap.
Go 302 or 351.
Is this going in a 4x4? A body lift will help with clearance if there are any issues there.
