I cannot believe how much life has changed in the last 5 months!
I have tackled things in my life that I couldnt even dream of when I was drinking and using. I am really involved with my AA homegroup, I chair, make coffee, made new friends and have found a new way of life. AA has saved my life.
What I have been learning is acceptance, gratitude, and dealing with life head on.
I have better relationships with.... well everyone.
What I did different this time is I completley and utterly surrended my will. I was not going to stop by myself. I have been given a second chance at life and I have been given the tools to live life clean and sober.
Its not all unicorns, rainbows and puppy dogs but it sure beats my old life ten fold.
I am grateful for boards like this where I can just let people know how I am doing and collect some snipets of wisdom along the way.
Thanks everyone!!
