Here ya go, its a work in progress. Hopefully done sooner than later.
Better than that
the "other" 2.5?
Thats only the beginning
final product will look similar to this...
closed deck block ftw
or get a ver7 STI engine.
needs more sleeper
Ahh when i first saw that. I was like damn it needs some TLC.
But it looks pretty good in the stage its in right now
meh, those motors are garbage. ej257 owns. The 2.2 has cooling issues and its a crusty old block that you have to use standalone, bleh.
what kind of tranny?
man if you went thru the trouble of repainting the car, why use something so common? I realize rally blue is cool and all but i wouldve gone with something different... like steel blue mica
still, nice job with the GC8 project
imageshit got you there
i did also mention the ver.7 STI engine.
I want the 2.5 liter, i like the low end grunt.
its rally blue pearl (only came on 98-99s) which is a different color than world rally blue. IT is a bit lighter and a mucher nicer color. The car was originally RBP so I wanted to keep it vintage, it was also cheaper to not do a color change. Had I gone a different color it would have been BMW dark blue that the 325s come in. I did not due steel blue mica because that is what everyone who does a repaint does.
heh thats true...
the dark blue wouldnt be too similar to the blue ridge pearl imprezas that came for a while?
the rally blue pearl is similar to the world rally blue of the GDs. The dark blue is very different from both.
Sick as hell
looks like you got your work cut out for ya
It's what I do everyday I figure I'll make it through, but it's no doubt a daunting task.
yeah but i was talking about the dark blue from the 325's being similar to the blue ridge pearl on the 00-01 2.5RS
you planning on keeping the interior gutted?
Looks good so far.
are those door sills from the 22b?
oh, its similar to it, but the bmw is lighter blue
nope, just have it gutted to do the wiring and replace the carpet Going to have spec-c interior
They are not I don't believe although the 22b had a similar ones. I'm not sure which JDM cars had them, however they do not make them anymore.
keener you're over here too... and you spill your guts here! bahh
