The Aero Precision is marked multi though. I thought that was supposed to be the marking to get in case of another AWB. I could be grossly misinformed though.
I don't believe anything regarding caliber marking has ever played a role in an AWB.
(at least short of entirely banned calibers like .50 but how many states do that? 2?)
It's so some people can feel safe puting 9mm uppers, .223 uppers, .22 uppers on the same lower. You can still do it legally with an upper marked .223, so it doesn't really matter.
superior arms lowers are pretty cheap, are they crappy?
Anyone know if it's an OLL?
Is the aero one an OLL? I'd really like to get that one and then get a dedicated .22 upper, and eventually upgrade to a 5.56/.223 upper.
Sorry us, California folk have gay gun laws.
OLL = Off List Lower
Pretty much any lower that's not on our banned list.
$86 lower that I've heard nothing but good reviews on (I do not own one personally... yet.)
