for what? shooting at the range? Wolf, Silver Bear, handloads, whatever I find thats cheap. Carry piece? Ranger sxt
white box for the range. gold dot hollow points for defense.
Everything here is loaded with Corbon DPX. although I did find a bunch of boxes of Hydroshocks in the china cabinet.
For the range, whatever wal-mart has by the 100 (remington or winchester). For defense, well, I have a .357 mag for that
WB is always pretty cheap and I've never had a problem with it.
If you're talking defense you need to look at some test results, pick a few rounds that you feel perform well, then see what you shoot best. Personally I like 147 gr winchester rangers for defensive loads.
WWB 100 rnd value pack
UMC for the range
Winchest STX or Golden Sabers
how do you like that UMC? thats steel cased, right?
I always used WWB
wwb for the range, hydra-shoks for the home
wwb for range use but I've recently started using CCI Blazer.
For defense I've got Federal Premum Defense FMJ rounds.
This thread has served it's purpose. I should have been more specific in the original post, but I was tryin to find out what you guys used for both and that's what everybody answered with anyways. I was looking to see what was good and cheap for the range and the best thing for when I'm carrying or home defense.
I use WWB for the range.
Rangers for defense.
wwb in my glock 19
It's brass I think I like it a little better than WWB. Seems less dirty.
WWB or CCI Blazer for the range and Corbon Speer Gold Dots for home defense.
cci blazer for the range and hydra-shoks in my ccw
Ammoman is selling M882 if anybody wants it.
i think it's alot less dirty. I've started buying the UMC 250 round value packs. Occasionally i'll pick up some WWB's though
edit - i just looked at mine, it's metal cased
WWB ( Winchester White Box) from wal-mart
Speer Gold Dot 124gr +P
Speer God Dot 124gr +P
Hmm the UMC rounds look interesting, maybe I'll pik up a box of them next time I go to the range.
