Which picture do you like best?
1. lost ap
If you adjusted the pictures in photoshop so they were of similar brightness this might be a better indication of which aperture looks better in this situation.
The fact is you are asking us which picture out of 3 washed out and 1 underexposed looks better. IMO they are all shit.
A little harsh but accurate
washed out? Really? Wow I thought they were good. Thanks for the input I need to learn somewhere
You might want to fill the frame with the flower more and go with a tighter crop. With flower shots, results tend to lean towards a larger aperture to reduce the depth of field. Just make sure you don't overexpose the shots like in the first 3 images.
did you adjust the shutter speed in relation to the aperture?
It doesn't look like he did now does it?
I tried too..hows mine?
it's an ugly flower.
3rd grade flashback
any reason for the loose crop on the right side?
Nope...no reason...I think yours looks better. I must confess there was some photoshop involved in this picture...=)
The first three are DEFINETELY washed out. The last one is a bit dark. And yes, the flower is too small considering the frame. If it's a big frame like that - then consider the background. Right now it's a bit dull - perhaps if it were some solid color, or other pretty flowers (throughout the entirety of the background), it'd be better... they're not good pictures.
where's the option for none?
No I didn't - and I am a girl
That is your excuse?
hahahaha no excuse No said 'he'
I just got a book called Michael Langfords 35MM Handbook. Will read it
took some cool pictures yesterday but don't think I will post them in fear of brutal honesty
Nobody will hate you for posting pics - and you have nothing to lose. We all like pictures here so post away
Gotta start somewhere, but you'll never learn w/o constructive criticism.
I know second one is too bright.
I don't edit any of my pics other than resizing. I have no idea how to do it properly yet.
i like the pic where the girl is hilding the two flowers
