what do you guys think of a smith and wesson?? how about a glock?
buy an XD !!!!1111onetwothree
thats a little more than i want to spend on a first pistol
XDs are less than Glocks.
if you are looking to spend less than an XD, you need to go back to the drawing board.
the only xd's ive seen around here were in the 500 range. ive seen some used glocks for around 350
you can get NIB XD 9mm for $399. NIB .40s are around $440. $350 for a glock won't come around too often.
really? ive seen 3 or 4 at the local sporting goods store for 350-400
then buy it. that's a good deal.
hi-point all the way, baby.
nobody carries those around here, id really like to hold one before i buy it
now what about mag capacity? 9 or .40
If you can get a glock for $350 go for it. Only S&W's I like are revolvers, dont care for any of their other stuff.
Try shooting both out of the weapons your considering and decide which you like better.
9 has higher capacity, and i'd buy 9mm over .40 for a first handgun anyday. cheaper ammo, easier to shoot.
yeah cheaper ammo and the capability are why id almost want to buy a 9mm but then i know ill regret not getting the .40 after a couple of weeks
The fact is a good jhp in 9mm and .40 make the same size hole in someone. Why not be able to make more holes without as much recoil?
If you're looking for value, reliability and practicality all in one little package, get a Desert Eagle .50 AE
this has multiple meanings
Glocks are endorsed by Tommy Lee Jones, what more could you ask for
one of my best friends has a glock .40 and while i like it, im trying to get something different just for the sake of getting something different
9mm= cheaper to shoot= more practice=the better you will be with your gun in the long run
a buddy of mine had this:
(it got stolen)
and while it had a very whoa factor to it, thats too much gun for me
typical emo attitude.. "I dont want to conform "
whats your budget, and what caliber you looking at? also, what will you be using for?
why would you regret not having a .40?
im not trying to be emo, im just saying id like to have some variety when we go shooting. for instance he has that glock 40. his brother has a .357 revolver long barrel, my other buddy has a .45, and some kind of tec-9 looking thing. id just like to have a different gun for us to shoot.
