I just got it and its much faster than its beta version. GUI is nicer too.
is there a trial of it, because I'm still on beta and would like to try out the full version
I just got it too. It is way fast on my Core Duo laptop...I luff it.
30 days for free
EDU is $99
retail is 199
after 4/30 its 299
macworld07 get you 15% off for now
NAPP, luminous landscape and more all have huge tutorials on it
yes it is awesome!
photoshop replacement awesome?
LR is not and never will be a photoshop replacement.
I've never used the full version yet but it is probably worth the $199, I'd rather pay that than $299 in april.
I just hope a crack comes out before then
its photoshops brother, they work together, but you can do a lot of the mundane stuff in lightroom, which is faster. It keywords, writes metadata, IPTC, batches, saves presets, prints, makes slideshows, web galleries, clone/heal, rey eye removal etc etc, but all in the metadata and not the actual pixels
i have it... i got it thru creative purchasing
oh! wait thats very interesting, so it doesnt actually degrade jpg quality then ?
what and how?
if you are going from jpg -> jpg then it will when you eventually save it again. It keeps a master file and then applies adjustments accordingly on the fly, so that your orig stays intact.
installed it, got healing tool yeah, and it's faster
def. staying installed
(i think he means teh int4rweb, i hear you can get a really good deal on software from newsgroups )
you just need a serial, they are super easy to find. the trial version is full, just need to unlock it, don't even need a crack, just a serial
i also got it creativly, and still learning to use it, seems like a good" investment"
Seems like you put alot of use to your 70-200 and 16-35, why don't you upgrade to the 17-55?
EF-s on APS-H
hmm, new 16-35LII, anyone wanna "borrow" mine and throw it over a cliff?
