Work called me in to help unload a truck last night. It was an 1800 piece truck, with most boxes weighing 60-80 lbs. I was on the truck unloading the boxes onto the portable conveyor and there were 3-4 people down the line that were sorting the boxes and processing them. I managed to keep the line full even though there was 1 of me putting them on the line and 4 of them taking them off . Anyways, of all the things that hurt the most, my grip is fucked. I have a hard time holding my mouse because a lot of the boxes were too big/awkward to carry normally so I had to grip them. My back feels like it got worked pretty good, too. Not to mention my quads and knees from all the deadlifting. I guess the point of this thread is, I feel like I get more accomplished from doing actual work instead of just working out. By the time we finished last night I was at the point where it was almost physically impossible to carry a box with my arms. I rarely work to that extreme at the gym. I think it's time to start doing so.
