Hey there red carpet crew... I am an architecture student and am currently working on a small private airport project. The airline operating out of this airport will be running mallards, re-purposed hydroplanes from the 40s and 50s. Part of the aesthetic I'm going for is that of the ROMANTIC SPIRIT flight had during its rise to ubiquity - fur lined leather helmets, brass trim, rivets - almost bordering on "steampunk". Anyways the point is, I'm looking for movies that will sorta inspire the spirit of that aesthetic. I saw the casablanca poster and it reminded me of the connection between cinema and architecture, so I figured I'd watch some movies to help give me some momentum. Problem is, I dont really know many movies from that era... So... can anyone help?
