We ran some .50 rounds into a car. The car didn't seem to like it.
thats fucking sweet better than all the stuff i shot this weekend
you lucky SOB
why is the car on fire? were you shooting tracers?
strangly reminds me of somthing I saw on TV. I wish I could Afford one of those. Best deer hunting rifle EVA! lol
I will have a .50 some day
sweet. You had DAMN fun this weekend.
and he probably got paid too
I'm so jealous.
Gotta get a SF Beast with a Larue mount for that puppy.
What's that, about 300-400 yards?
We can stretch out to 800 at our range but didn't on this day.
whats the kick like shooting something that big??
I need to compile a list of ranges that'll let you do cool shit like shoot cars.
Everything around here is faggy "marksman benches".
ive heard that its not as bad as you might think. i guess because of its size.
I've shot a few different manufacturers’ .50 BMGs and most kick less than a 12 gauge slug. The recoil is much more of a push than a snap but the real "event" is the blast from the escaping gas. The muzzle brake vents gas to the sides so if you aren't directly behind the gun you really feel it. The over pressure is a lot like a flashbang.
Damn man thats one BFG. Somone at our local range was shooting one, and upon the first shot, set off every car that had an alarm. It was histerical.
I wanna shoot one!
Dare I ask how much a toy like that costs?
Jeez that's bad ass. I'd like to shoot one oneday, or just see one shot. The cost would prevent me from owning it.
The camera makes that car look a lot smaller than it really is. I'm used to shooting at shoulder/head targets at 225, and that picture makes that car look smaller than one of those targets would at 225.
