Drop in 7" quad rail?
I know UTG makes one but it looks a little eh...
You're one of those guys
The customer service I received from Larue when I placed my order from them for a lot of shit was great and I will recommend them to everyone. Plus the fit and finish on everything they sell is amazing.
I've heard it all before but the crap is too expensive.
My midwest industries non-free float 2 piece works pretty well. If free float isn't a necessity......the MI stuff wouldn't be a bad choice.
Yeah I don't want free-float.
my MI forearm is pretty solid and locks up tight.
Why don't you ask your FFL, afterall you trust his advice over ours.
What's up with you dude?
I can't ask questions here and ask my FFL questions
i have the troy rail and its tits.
if you're THAT worried about money, then get the UTG.
I'm not worried about money just don't want to purchase something just because it's got a name on it that doesn't mean crap...
right, because there is nothing good about the products they make other than the name they slap on it.
like i said, there is nothing wrong with the troy and its $157 shipped.
Troy makes good shit. Check out Spikes Tactical and yhm lastly...
With Larue products you get what you pay for. They also have the best customer service I've ever received from anyone in the firearm industry.
YHM makes a good inexpensive rail. Even their free floats are only around a hundred bucks or so.
You can get them here. They start at 99 and go up depending on the length. http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/SearchResults.asp
I've got one on one of my ARs and its worked just fine. Held up fine, hasnt come loose and no reason to think it will.
Plus 1 on YHM, cheap and good quality.
I will sell you my old set of MIs 2 piece if you want. They are in great shape.
dunno if its the same with the non free float rail but the MI rail i had was wide as hell..didnt like it so i sold it and got something else.
Oh yeah? What did you replace it with?
troy mrf-c. i was thinking about the mrf-di but for a little more i decided to get the free float troy
Hmm I'll keep that in mind
Appreciate the input.
pics of my troy mrf-di:
its awesome. because of the screws there is absolutely no play in the rails
