jesus fucking christ
id fuck him
if that bar flexed anymore some members of this forum would complain
no theyd complain that hes not cut
you guys think we will ever see someone total 3k?
I'd say no, but who knows what we'll end up with in 20 or 30 years.
i think we will. some guys are almost in the 2700s right now.
what a fucking asshole
das wut im sayin'
sure, when the 6 ply, steel reinforced, mechanical squat suits come out
Andy has the best chance to do it right now I think. He can hit 1200 in the squat. His bench was holding him back for a long time but hes made tons of progress on it since he started working with the Militia.
1200/800/1000 .... baller status
jesus tittyfucking christ
Oh cool another person doing something I'll never ever approach
jumping 300 lbs on a total say from 1700 - 2000, you can say that with confidence. 2700 to 3000 is a HUGE stretch. When you get to that level, you start training for 5-10 lb PRs. It took Andy 3 years to go from 1003-1008
this was also deadlift only, kinda hard to do your best pulling after getting a huge squat and bench in.
i dont think it would be 20 - 30 years though. I say we might see someone close in the next 5 yrs
3000 will happen because Powerlifting has inevitable technology advancements in the federations that are very gear friendly.
There are talks of federations allowing monolift setups for the deadlift (as in you start locked out), Frantz fed wanted to use straps, more advanced gear will always keep coming in.. etc etc
In the same exact situation with the same exact gear and same judging I don't see 3,000 happening.
But a lot of the big gear federations won't stop until robotic suits are being used (so long as they turn a profit). so yes, 3000 will be hit, and 3000 and more will be.. its just the conditions that are variable.
So they'll allow bouncing? fuck that.
its over nine thousand
i dont see gear getting much worse
