The client loves them, and I got monies :)

Just two strobes and a white cardboard reflector, taken with my new favorite lens, 85mm f/1.4

I could see these as being filler for the cd book, but not on the cover. The last image needs to go though, it's not flattering to her figure. Also, they all appear to be just a tad underexposed.

Seriously, how do you plan on using those as a CD cover unless you're going to do a ridiculously tight crop on her face with 0 breathing room?

how can I take the photo where it suits a CD Cover? I may have to reshoot if it becomes an issue

think about the crop of a cd cover, shoot for slightly wider than that. That means shooting horizontal or a wider vertical. It may not look as good as a standalone image, but a tight vertical is going to lose a lot.

I told you this last time :squint:

you're shooting against a blank background. DOF shouldn't come into it.

Need some better lighting for the face, especially if it's a CD cover.

I wouldn't buy an album with a zoom of an artist's face on the cover. Too vain.
