I have a set and have needed to use it a good amount of times. Most recently I found an old safe from when I was a kid and was able to open it with in maybe 15 seconds. It was like a 30 year old time capsule

Also neeeded it to open a pad locked shipping container for network gear not too long ago

Surprisingly the only lock that's really given me problems was a uhaul branded brass pad lock

If you're looking for a disc lock like this, try and find an Abus branded one. They're from germany and are supposed to be difficult. I have them on my storage but haven't actually tried picking one

I think this is the set that I have next to me, I also keep a smaller one in my work bag. I think somone else on here suggested a better set a while back.

To be honest the one I high lighted here will get you into almost every home depo pad lock. Deadbolts (Schlage are what I have) are a bit trickier but the typical master lock only takes a second

I helped a friend open one of those Harbor Freight 72" lower tool boxes, someone had returned it locked and the store couldn't find the key. When we asked what the deal was with it, the manager said he'd sell it for $200 just to avoid paying to ship it back. SOLD. Had it picked in the bed of my truck in the parking lot.

Yep, I wanted to be able to open all the of locks I own if I ever lost the key, so I bought myself a set of lock picks. I was able to use what I’ve learned when a friend couldn’t find the key to a locked door at his house.
