I got my year subscription there 
Forgot my gold was expiring and it auto-renewed 
so I called to cancel the renew and said I just had another card I was gonna put in and they cancelled the gold and refunded my money

lol i didnt know dhgate was still around. last i heard people were having the points taken back after transferring them.

The ones i bought a few days ago worked perfectly. I'll give you the name of the seller i used if you want. Some of them now want you to immediately change the email address of the account and then change the screenname LOL....fuck that. The guy i use doesn't require that

I had that happen once, out of 4 times. Lost roughly half the points at some point between transfer and first xbox login. Not sure how or what happened. The rest of the times have been fine though.
so they give you an account and pw and you have to logon to that?

Rumor on the street is that they can't do it the old way anymore (make their own silver accounts and put points on them). Now they just phish/steal gold accounts and use the credit card info on there to buy points

I'm thinking of buying 10k but how does this shit work? You log into this account, then like it has points and how do you transfer it over to your own account? Or am I just going to end up paying for some Nigerian meals for a year.

you log into the account and buy stuff. Anything you buy will stay on the xbox and you can use it on your normal log in. Works with anything besides avatar stuff.

Just find a seller is online at the time and ask if they work in Canada, some of them have accounts that work here. I have bought points a couple times from dhgate and haven't had any problems.
