I'm looking for a full size mechanical keyboard with mx brown switches, hopefully with key rollover . but looks retro like a model M

I found this, keychron c2, it's close, but it's not quite the look i want, and the red esc button is just irritating. I want the 80s 90s look

Keychron is good about including extra keys, so I doubt the Red ESC is the only one in the box.

Need to get rid of my basket weave (kb in the 1st post). I don’t use it all.

I swapped my DD from tactile Purple Pandas to linear Gateron Milky Yellow Pro switches Saturday. I liked the feel but didn't like the extended throw (3mm vs. 4mm) Got a set of Pro Silvers which are closer to 3mm yesterday and I like them a lot more.

@Niccolo-daddy post up your collection of artisanal's and we can guess how much money is sitting there. :mamoru2:

I've never bought a kb. Always built em. If I could have one it'd be satisfaction 75.

I do love your 40%+10key tho. Mad unique.

Although out of ones I built the one above is already too fkn much.
Between the rare original dots and out of prod bing bang 1.1, gazzew u4t, katalox custom made case and like 65 bucks on PCB+plate. Too much for something I use once a week in the office:/

It's ALWAYS the keycaps that take the longest to ship

Fucking switches and case were on site within a week.

At least it's not as bad as 2020-2021, we were waiting 3-10 months for good sets of keycaps to ship from the end of group buys because of how backed up GMK was and they were the ONLY game in town that made decent double shot caps. Now there's a bunch of different makers. :tbow:

Still takes like a month though.

My biggest issue is finding a set I like :o

I don't like Cherry or OEM profiles either so that makes it even harder.

I got a super cheap of set of CSA height keycaps for $20 Amazon prime overnight (I do more typing, barely any gaming). very happy especially for the price.

Keyboard is a keychron k4 which I absolutely love. The 96% layout takes some getting used to, but I absolutely need my tenkey so this is a great compromise

That's the style of keyboard that @Boudreaux had me build for him.

Can't wait till he gets it in hand. :run:
