Ro-cat just exploded my ads on social media about a month ago out of nowhere.Bought a Ro-cat with their "blues" for work. My coworkers despise it. But I love it.
Never heard of that, I think I remember hearing about a "Quick Fire" keyboard but have no clue what that means.I have a k70 rapid fire. I don't like the rapid switches as much as other mechanical boards I've owned in the past.
You basically breath on the keyboard and type that way.Never heard of that, I think I remember hearing about a "Quick Fire" keyboard but have no clue what that means.
I knew it was going to annoy my co-workers to have a mech keyboard, so I didn't want to buy anything expensive in case they decided to screw with it.Ro-cat just exploded my ads on social media about a month ago out of nowhere.
They do it for the YouTube videos since they don't want to keep buying stuff on their own, so they'll do the reviews and typing test.First one I built I spent a bunch of time filming and lubing the switches and modifying the stabilizers, such a tedious process but it does make a difference.
Some people on the mechanical keyboard subreddit do this shit for fun, like you just pay for shipping + materials and they'll do this work for you.
Great point that never even crossed my mind. They do it for the YouTube videos since they don't want to keep buying stuff on their own, so they'll do the reviews and typing test.

NiceI just bought a few low-end boards, one for my brother in law for his birthday and another one my wife wants for her workplace. NK65 EE for the BIL, Epomaker GK96S for the wife. Gateron Milky Yellows with GMK knock-off caps (Black Lotus for BIL, Blue Samurai for wife).
Lol don’t need to spend that. You can spend 150 or 6k, your choiceThis fuckin thread is gonna make me want to build a $2000 keyboard
I agree but from what I’ve read at that point it’s not about using it. It’s about an investment. Almost like buying a painting or something. Those very low runs by highly regarded people are sought after in that community. And that community is full of people with tons of disposable income. I do think it’s fucking insane and would never buy anything like that.I'm all for spending money on hobbies, but the point of diminishing returns for a nice mechanical keyboard is around $500 from what I've learned. If you're spending $4000+ on a keyboard you need to have your head checked![]()
