Hi, I was just wondering if anyone out there is familiar with E-Prime, a computer program that allows you to build experimental paradigms.
I'm having a serious problem with my script...

My task involves participants seeing image after image and having to press ENTER when they recognize an object in the any of the pictures. The only data that I am interested in at this point is on what slide they are pressing ENTER. I have set up my slides to be presented at 750 ms each and each slide is configured to collect a potential response from the participant (ENTER). There are 40 individual trials for this task.

In my output file, some trials show ENTER being pressed only once, but other trials have ENTER being pressed up to six times, despite the fact that I know ENTER was ONLY pressed once. Why are my single cue responses overlapping in trials?
I'm not sure if this is a timing issue or a response collection issue.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
