Date night tonight.
helping bro move in after first year in college, going to hang out with my Prom date from high school.
Gonna see if she is still a bitch. Must be pretty desperate these days if she's calling me to hang out.
Thinking about. I want to be able to take in my MP40
Might go see it Sunday after I get back from camping. Went last night and saw District 9, that was pretty sweet.
my GF wants to see it, but not district 9 which is interesting who knows when i'll see it though.
district 9 wasn't bad, it was more interesting than i thought it would be. I wouldn't pay to see but i downloaded it and watched it
it looks badass as fuck
I went this afternoon.
I'm still not sure if it was awesome or horrible.
District 9 isn't as badass as the previews lead you to believe since it's done in a documentary style for a lot of it, but it's still pretty damn good. Most movies are kind of a let down after it all builds up... this one has a pretty good ending.
I won't ruin it for anyone besides the fact that it's very much a Tarantino film
just a remake of an old movie
Aside from the name and the fact that it's set during WWII, there's not much of a connection between the two films.
the ending is good as hell though!!
I wish. In the last four years I've only been to the theater once. It was to watch Up with the kids.
Camping plans fell through, so I went and seen it instead. Just got home, and it's 4am. Long fucking movie.
I thought it was alright. Brad Pitt stole the show, and his parts were the only ones I didn't feel were trying to be overly stylistic and well, boring. Had there been a different ending, I probably would have been pissed.
It kept me entertained., which is hard to do.
Saw it last night. I thought it was pretty good, but I didn't expect it to end how it did.
I liked it a lot..... But I'm a bit of a Tarantino whore.
hit it/quit it
you should switch your user name to "That Guy"
I'm still in this camp. I had such different expectations, but then I forgot it was Tarantino. Still though, not bad, I just did not have the expectation of what I was looking for matched.
like his movies and Kubrick films, sometimes takes a few viewings to really get everything out of it.
I'll probably wait till a rip is out and watch it a few more times.
also, did anyone who saw it notice if he actually made an appearance in it? From what I saw, he at least didn't give himself a speaking part.
I didn't see him anywhere, so he would have to have been pretty well hidden if he was. Or I just wasn't paying attention.
