seems kinda kick ass. Just not sure how accurate it is.
if they made it compatible with the free's i would get it
According to what I've read you can attach it to just about any shoe.
hmm i need to look into that. i was talking about the shoes that have nike+ built in then. hmmm...
I have one, but haven't used it yet. I should probably sell it
hmm, i'm meeting some dude on craigslist to get his tomorrow haha. he's selling the sport kit + an armband for $20, not bad.
i think i'm going to try cutting into my sole though, hope i don't ruin my shoes
i run like 4-5 mi a day... not a hardcore runner but i do run a little but. even in my nike free's it'll ruin it?
just bought it since i got new nike+ shoes.
bought it here, http://www.runningwarehouse.com/descpage-NIPS.html
go to team discounts on top and type CP20 for 15% off
comes out to 23.76 with free 2nd day shipping
get a pouch http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...field-keywords=nike+ipod+sensor+pouch&x=0&y=0
yeah the soles are really thin on my free's... i saw a tutorial on how to do it but it might contribute to the degration of my shoes. they're going strong on 2 years now, don't want to change that...
i really just don't like the way it looks
i guess u can cut the back of the tongue on the nike frees and slip the sensor in
not possible on the 3.0s. i think the velcro is the only way
actually that doesn't look too bad. i wonder if it's still accurate that way
I don't understand caring about how a little thing on your SHOES is going to look
its a pedometer. My dad uses one and uses the website to track his runs, says it's pretty accurate. He just uses a plastic case that clips on to his shoelaces to old the pedometer.
I want to use both
my block comes out to 0.9miles
my ipod sport kit coming in tomorrow
i love my nike+ sportband... i had the 1st gen unit and the screen failed on me recently. called up nike and they said to just send it back and they would send me a new one plus a new sensor for my shoe.
should be here this week sometime i hope.
for those of you saying cut your shoes and shit, if you don't have nike+ shoes they have these lil' pods you buy and just wrap around your laces and put the sensor in there. done.
ended up getting this today. some nice guy on craigslist sold me the sport kit, 3rd gen nano, and the nike armband for $50 said he hopes i get more use out of it than him haha
if only i didn't have to install itunes i haven't had an ipod since the 2nd gen
