Working on a phrase for my business but I don't know Latin
Context > intraweb translators
My money says thunderbear is the womd member most likely to.
si vis pacem para bellum
About as cliche as "Molon Labe"
I used to know a little bit--studied it for a year in school when I was a kid. I make no promises, but since it was a private school, I think I still have the textbook in a packing box somewhere...
i took 4 years in high school.. but doubt its helpful.. shoot and ill try help out
I heard you invented Latin.
Often wonder what image I present to WMD. This is a far more favorable one than I expected. I must admit only a passing knowledge of Latin, a majority of which comes from the scientific names for plant and animal species.
There are several Latin phrases I've come across that would serve a business well, however.
Fortius quo fidelius - Strength through loyalty
Ne cede malis - Yield not to evil
In pace, ut sapiens, aptarit idonea bello - In peace, like a wise man, he appropriately prepares for war
Often overused, but no less badass:
Nemo me impune lacessit - No one provokes me with impunity.
Inter arma silent leges - In time of war, laws are silent
I like that one! Simple, short, and to the point.
before or after you were in the israeli special forces?
womd has a few people I'd identify as renaissance men
Of course I also post in fs so its balanced by the fact that I may have seen your cock before too (no search as a non-paying member, who knows).
Does Pig Latin count? I know loads and loads of scientific names for plants and animals...but that doesn't help you.
what the fuck
I took it in high school.
audaces fortuna iuvat
was always one of my favorites
Caveat Emptor would be a good one
