no tactile response ftl
To what end? You want a mouse that doesn't move, or a virtual touchpad? It's an interesting idea, but a projector like that is the same size as a mouse, whereas it's much smaller than a keyboard, so there would be nothing to gain from making such a device. Not to mention that projector requires a flat surface just like a mouse does; you'd be better off with a portable trackball if a flat surface isn't available.
I'm sure you could make that one work as a mouse, though, if you rewrote the driver.
"Dammit, why does the computer keep opening porn sites!?"
red square, tracks your finger movement in the square. like a projected laptop trackpad
In that case, See above. You'd still need a flat surface to operate it on, and the projector is the same size as a mouse or trackball or portable touchpad anyway. There'd be no benefit, though I'm sure it's possible.
if you don't have the answer to his question, please just say so. there is absolutely no reason to wax philisophically about how it would work and how useful it is.
Good thing I don't need a reason -- or your permission -- to wax anything I feel like. Take that however you want to take it, just don't let me catch you crying in the shower later.
Anyway, you don't have the answer either, or if you do, then you're willfully withholding it, which makes you just as bad. Son.
Mice armed with lasers!?
TRULY THE END TIMES ARE UPON US!
he does have a point though, those little portable track balls or mini-travel mice would work just fine I ASSUME for whatever the threadstarter is doing. although he didn't exactly say what he would use it for, hence the waxing.
Sometimes you need to rend off the pubes of uncertainty to lay bare the smooth skin of knowledge.
fuck funniest thing i've read all day
i hinted at it in my other thread
See, this is why I like C&P; for all of its dysfunction, you guys are the same kind of fucked-up as I am.
