    well considering its used and AF (non D) i'd say around 75 bucks would be a better deal

    but what do i know.

    I never knew there was a difference in 50mm lenses. doesn't the D model mean it has the adjustable aperture ring just like G lenses mean there isn't an aperture ring?

    I was gonna ask. On my D80, when I try to move that aperture ring anywhere other than 22 I get an error. What's up with that.

    you keep the aperture at f/22 and adjust it electronically by using the command dials. your camera isnt manual so adjusting the aperture on the lens fucks with your camera.

    its normal.

    Yeah, I use the camera to control it, but I wondered if it had any significance other than on fully manual cameras.
