Someone from their gym offered to sell me theirs for $150, i think its a pretty good deal.
at least its as tall as you.
They're fun to just play with, but I would never spend money on one. A real heavy bag >>>>> than that and much cheaper
When i hit my heavy bag usually aim my punches above my head because I dont imagine myself fighting another midget.
I think the height is adjustable.
waste of money, just buy a banana tree
between this and the coat hanger what's with all the gimmicky stuff you want? i'm telling you man, there's absolutely nothing wrong with a plain old bag full of sand.
Edit: There's one where I train now. It's amusing to throw head kicks at, but I prefer a real heavy bag.
shit sucks... i hate these types of stands. i have a bottom weighted bag similar to this, and honestly if you go to town on it, it just lifts up and topples over.
weeble wobbles wobble but they don't fall down?
Buy it to practice stare-downs.
good deal, I like using them to target increase accuracy of kicks and strikes...they do weeble and wobble but it provides better visualization...and at the price it's a score.
there's one at the gym in my apt complex, and i like to make out with it while nobody's looking
and while people are looking
Those things are retarded and $150 is high.
I sold mine back in college for like $75
1 vote in for "those are super lame"
that's about all it's good for
The mook jong i got for free so I dont care so much.
I have a bunch of stuff, I guess i want to have a gym at home.
2 sets of boxing gloves, 1 set of bag gloves, 2 sets of mma gloves, shin guards, helmet + plastic cover, heavy bag, focus mitts, muay thai pads, grappling mats (which are shitty).
I'd love to get a double ended bag, that was a lot of fun to work with at my gym.
When I was learning how to bob/weave/slip I hot glue gunned a tennis ball to a string and just let it sway back and forth while I practiced.
No thank you! But i'll spar for fun.
I'd definitely have to hit it before I buy it.
I wish I could head kick maybe in a year or something.
Really? I cant find one cheaper than $350 online.
yeah slip bags are nice. you can get a speed bag and just tie a rope to the end of it and use that for a slightly less ghetto approach.
you can get a double end bag for like $30. do it up. definitely a great tool once you learn to use it.
Don't get that silly thing.
Why not? I can put a gi on it and practice my chokes.
When you hit it, you'll see why everyone thinks it's so lame.
It's ok for accuracy related stuff, but the head flops around when you hit it hard and the body is like punching a padded wall.
you watched machida and shogun hitting one didn't you
Hahahhaa i just saw it yesterday on the Road To UFC, but that was at 11pm way before I posted this.
