does it make it harder on your knees?
I used a 50 lb weight vest once and it just felt shitty to jog with it. There are better things you can do to get whatever result you're hoping for with the vest.
A kid at my gym wears one to run a couple miles in, do stairs, and then suicides.
Motivated little 16 year old.
dont do it. it will not make you a faster runner
i used to wear a weighted vest and it increased my vertical about 3 inches.
I use a 20lb one but only on the elliptical + speed walking (i dont jog). No significant knee pressure but I do feel a lot on my shoulders
why not just push yourself more?
