Let me know, need to run something by you guys.
i've worked on em before, whatcha got?
I've got a 650 DP on my 302, whats your question?
is it super/turbo charged?
That seems a bit much for a 302. I had a 650 on my 350 and it was enough
I've had, tuned, rebuilt several.
they put 750 on 302's z28 camaros
650 isnt that much, im getting a 750 cfm for my 355
I believe they were 780's on the Z/28's
650 is not too large for a Ford 302. The carb'd GT Mustangs from 1983-1985 used a 600CFM Motorcraft/Holley 4180. While the extra 50CFM is larger, any additional engine mods will greatly take advantage of the headroom. Even changing the cam in one of these motors, you have to adjust the carb very carefully to eliminate dead spots.
I just rebuilt one for my buddy at work,he didnt wanna risk it,to many parts for him
Thats my problem right now. Ive gotta retune it. I just got a black notch and the it screams once I get to about 2500 rpm, but there is a huge flatspot off idle.
