I bet those guys feel like the coolest people on the internet right now.
And rightfully so.
The design looks phenomenal, I really didn't expect to be this impressed with it. I half expected the back to look like the iPads.
I'm not sold on the design. I also expected (and was hoping) it was going to look like a tiny iPad but I get the engineering issues that giz pointed out.
Seriously? I thought the iPads design looked old and busted. Square and industrial is the new hotness.
I don't know if I'm really even sold on it being the final model. Seems like they put it in a really simple case to test it, but I guess we'll see in a couple months.
They wouldn't go through all the trouble of making the case that's not the final build, I expect them to just clean up the seams if anything.
we have custom one off cases for some of our prototype units at my company that never see the light of day... so i wouldn't let something like that be the determining factor... espeically with how much cash on hand Apple has...
but i do think if this is the phone, they'll get rid of the seams before the final make it flush
Love the new design. Will definitely consider buying the 4gen.
I was never a fan of the old design anyways, much prefer the flat feel
Design looks like shit, specs look sexy as fuck. It'll probably look better IRL though, I thought the fat nano looked like shit until I saw it IRL.
ballllllllllin, just came on to post this
it's kind of meh. Looks like a brick.
Looks ok, I find it hard to believe Apple just "lost" this phone though.
gizmodo is really greasy to me now, after reading what they did.
pay for stolen goods, then write a story where they basically shine a light on the guy that lost the phone. like he hasn't got enough attention already.
Yeah, the fact they posted several "round up" articles of the story, and re-capped their news coverage made
I don't think Apple will fire the guy though, that would blow up in their faces.
more likely...quietly reassigned, will be moved to project documentation or some other dead end niche.
New design is hot, and I think I'll probably get it if it looks like that.
i like those volume buttons
