The sound on my Macbook stopped working completely. Because I have Applecare, Apple overnighted me a box and I overnighted it back. Repair status says they received it at 6:50am today and the repair was complete at 7:45am and was pending return. It has been pending return all day so I called up Apple to see what's up. The guy said my problem was rare and they just replaced the sound card. I asked him, I thought the sound was built into the logic board, so doesn't that mean they replaced the whole logic board? The guy said "yeah but they just replaced the soundcard" Then I asked if I will receive it tomorrow since it's suppose to be shipped today and he said "uhh well you have to give them time to receive it so it goes by the timeline." I said "forget the timeline, it says they received it and fixed it before 8 and is ready to be mailed out, does that mean I'll have it tomorrow?" He said "yeah but you have to give them time to receive it so i wouldn't expect it until the 18th." This guy just went on and on acting like a retard and no one has any idea where my computer is or what the status is.
