So....I applied for a project specialist position within my company. I was initially under the assumption that this job managed different projects within our employee development part of the company.

I have come to learn that this job is more design based (i.e. Adobe suite, web design, etc), but I am still moving forward with the process.

I recently submitted a written interview to the manager of the department which includes my limited experience with graphic design, web design, and multimedia/video production. I also stated my experience with project management and management in general however none of this is computer based.

How screwed am I? I assume I am still in the process for a reason. I don't believe it is anything advanced, however my Adobe suite skills are pretty basic and my web design experience is in using Dream Weaver and FrontPage :mamoru:

This does sound like a job that would interest me, but I'm just not too sure on what they are looking for.

Computer geeks and designers, what would you recommend I brush up on before an interview and how do you think I should handle an interview if selected to move forward in the hiring process?

thanks OT, I hope this made sense.

regardless of what it is and what it pays, if it's something you don't want to do, don't do it.

project management is nothing like web design
