So....I applied for a project specialist position within my company. I was initially under the assumption that this job managed different projects within our employee development part of the company. I have come to learn that this job is more design based (i.e. Adobe suite, web design, etc), but I am still moving forward with the process. I recently submitted a written interview to the manager of the department which includes my limited experience with graphic design, web design, and multimedia/video production. I also stated my experience with project management and management in general however none of this is computer based. How screwed am I? I assume I am still in the process for a reason. I don't believe it is anything advanced, however my Adobe suite skills are pretty basic and my web design experience is in using Dream Weaver and FrontPage This does sound like a job that would interest me, but I'm just not too sure on what they are looking for. Computer geeks and designers, what would you recommend I brush up on before an interview and how do you think I should handle an interview if selected to move forward in the hiring process? thanks OT, I hope this made sense.
