I'm in love.
Yeah, I've been drooling over a 9mm ar pistol, anyone had experiece with the model 1 kits? What kind of 9mm system do they use?
The .223 version is crap. To hard to control and no accuracy(sp?) The 9mm version is fun to shoot and also fun to build. I took an old ar 15 lower with the conversion mag, standard upper with the 9mm conversion barrel and bolt assy. took all of 35 minuets to build with the right tools. Still a fun weapon.
I personally am not a big fan of the way the pistols look, but I don't really have anything negative to say about them either.
However I do like their company markings on the lower
M1S has a pretty bad rap. I would suggest you go with someone like RRA or CMMG for your pistol
Whats the legalities of them in Cali? Never cared for AR pistols personally, stupid buffer tube sticking out.
Why no PLR 16?
I have a hard time loving .223 from short barrels, I just don't get the point. Plus an ar15 pistol is hideous with the tube on it.
I'd get the plr-16 if I wanted one
Thats what I figured, but its sooo cheap. Well, might as well spend the money now, or the frustration later.
Thats one of the tightest guns I think Ive ever seen
how much would that sexy beast cost?
Baa pay 200 extra dollars for a stamp so you can put a stock on it.
werd. Thats why I didn't skimp on getting an upper, and just went straight to CMMG
Um....the legalities are....interesting. In theory an AR pistol is banned. however, if you were to 'fix' the mag (long story there as well) and only have a 10 rounder in, as well as no cool stuff, it would actually be legal currently the reason there are not more of them is that it is hard to get a pistol lower that is completely stripped except for fixing a mag
Ak ok so basically its the same deal as an AR rifle if its fixed mag you can have the p grip, no f/h or other goodies though.
yah, except with the pistol, there is NO way to run a detach mag.
$450-500...but you lose alot of wounding capability of 5.56 with such a short barrel. They look cool, and thats about the main thing they do well.
KelTec has great wounding capability haven't you ever seen any of its kB pics? if a glock is a grenade the keltec is a MOAB
I've seen 1 kb'ed plr-16 that was the result of bad wwb, pics?
Don't have any saved, I've seen 2 both were from bad ammo.
Cool, the only one I saw was shortly after the initial release and a guy on arfcom. Keltec said they'd changed the bolt carrier design some after that to make KB's behave a little differently.
Yeah thats one of the ones I saw Beer Slayers I think, saw another one on I think either glock talk or one of the ak boards i go on.
for 5.56 pistols, the sig is the hottest looking one I've seen:
(first post in the thread has a pic of it)
If it only used a true 550 series lower
That's what I want next
