it's the same car
Nothing screams I am dirt poor like a cheap domestic econo box.
same damn car and its usually a lot cheaper to find
lol @ ignorance
My wife had one of those corollas and it was a total shitbox. Horrible interior, horrible performance, horrible reliability. Worst car ever. And that was the TOYOTA version. I can't imagine what happens with the chevy version.
it's better. same car but for a lower price
4AFE for the win
it's the same fucking car.
It was brand new.
Still a piece of shit then.
This one girl I knew had rebadged her Prizm to a corolla. I believed it, until I saw her steering wheel
corollas and prizms were built side by side at the same factory in california. there's no difference.
Half of the issues I have with the car are design issues. The horrible interior quality (this coming from someone used to driving ford pickups) is the main thing. By this i mean the utter lack of space for anyone over 6 feet tall. It feels like you are trapped in a sardine can. Except that the sardine can is made of plastic and has visible seams and panel gaps everywhere. Utter trash.
After 20,000 miles the car started pinging under acceleration. Brought it to the dealer, they said we must have gotten some bad gas, and she should use premium from now on
Brought it back when that obviously didn't fix anything. They replaced injectors, o2 sensors, etc etc etc and it STILL FUCKING PINGED (pung?) LIKE A SON OF A BITCH.
Finally i got fed up with it and fixed it myself (dirty MAF)
The car never drove straight. Never could be aligned properly. Would cut down the front passenger tire every now and then and nobody could ever discover the cause. I can only imagine that either something was put together wrong or that my wife drove it over a 6" curb at 80mph and never told me.
Luckily it got totalled in a parking lot by some douche in a chevy 1500 and now she has a Mazda3 instead. I cannot possibly enumerate the ways that it is better than the corolla.
and that it was a shitty piece of shit even in perfect condition
Yeah, your bad experience with pretty much the most reliable car on the planet (the Corolla) is enough to change my mind about them
half the time car dealerships will say they did the work when they didn't even touch the fucking car.
I had to ride in the next model corolla (the current one i guess) with a customer once, and at least it wasn't quite as cramped.
Hard to believe that car is in the same category as the mazda 3 though.
Some dealers will intentionally miss shit just to milk more money out of you with return repairs.
it was under warranty
i haven't had one experience with a dealership's service department where I wasn't lied to in some way.
